About the Role
Installs, repairs, and services commercial and residential garage door systems. Responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues while ensuring safe, high-quality work and strong customer service.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and replace sectional doors, rolling steel doors, fire doors, operators, springs, cables, and hinges.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on-site.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of door systems.
Communicate with customers regarding repair options and recommendations.
Maintain accurate service records and update customer information in company software.
Manage vehicle parts inventory.
Follow OSHA and company safety standards.
Respond to emergency service calls and on-call duties as required.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a lead technician working with commercial and residential garage doors (required).
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Knowledge of electrical wiring; welding experience preferred.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work with heavy equipment.
Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
Professional, customer-focused attitude.
